The Lord Jesus has secured many vessels for His service by the wonderful work He completed at the cross. It is by His victory He has brought out a rich harvest for God. In this Address, you will hear what it means to be a Vessels for Christ and how we should serve Him daily.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
2 Timothy 2:20-21 “But in a great house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also wooden and earthen; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.21 If therefore one shall have purified himself from these, [in separating himself from them], he shall be a vessel to honour, sanctified, serviceable to the Master, prepared for every good work.“
Romans 16:1-2 “But I commend to you Phoebe, our sister, who is minister of the assembly which is in Cenchrea;2 that ye may receive her in [the] Lord worthily of saints, and that ye may assist her in whatever matter she has need of you; for *she* also has been a helper of many, and of myself.”
2 Kings 5:1-3 “And Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man before his master, and honourable, for by him Jehovah had given deliverance to Syria; and he was a mighty man of valour, [but] a leper.2 And the Syrians had gone out in bands, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.3 And she said to her mistress, Oh, would that my lord were before the prophet that is in Samaria! then he would cure him of his leprosy.”
2 Timothy 1:16-18 “6 The Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he has often refreshed me, and has not been ashamed of my chain;17 but being in Rome sought me out very diligently, and found [me]—18 the Lord grant to him to find mercy from [the] Lord in that day—and how much service he rendered in Ephesus *thou* knowest best.”
