The Gospel is God’s answer to the problem of sin. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus came to earth on a rescue mission. When we look at the world around us, or even reflect on history, we see a massive barrier separating us from a holy and righteous God—that barrier is sin. This barrier is far too great for us to overcome on our own. But God, in His love, sent someone to remove that barrier completely: a Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 8:11-12 “11 For Jehovah spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and he instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,12 Ye shall not say, Conspiracy, of everything of which this people saith, Conspiracy; and fear ye not their fear, and be not in dread.”
Romans 8:31-35 “33 Who shall bring an accusation against God’s elect? [It is] God who justifies:34 who is he that condemns? [It is] Christ who has died, but rather has been [also] raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”
Romans 8:38-39 “38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
