The Gospel is a message about the person of the Lord Jesus Christ who came into the world to save sinners.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
2 Corinthians 4:3-6 “3 But if also our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in those that are lost; 4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the radiancy of the glad tidings of the glory of the Christ, who is [the] image of God, should not shine forth [for them].5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus Lord, and ourselves your bondmen for Jesus’ sake.6 Because [it is] the God who spoke that out of darkness light should shine who has shone in our hearts for the shining forth of the knowledge of the glory of God in [the] face of [Jesus] Christ.”
1 Peter 1:18-21 “18 knowing that ye have been redeemed, not by corruptible [things, as] silver or gold, from your vain conversation handed down from [your] fathers, 19 but by precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, [the blood] of Christ,20 foreknown indeed before [the] foundation of [the] world, but who has been manifested at the end of times for your sakes,
21 who by him do believe on God, who has raised him from among [the] dead and given him glory, that your faith and hope should be in God.”
Philippians 4:4-8 “4 Rejoice in [the] Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.5 Let your gentleness be known of all men. The Lord [is] near.6 Be careful about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;7 and the peace of God, which surpasses every understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts by Christ Jesus.8 For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things [are] true, whatsoever things [are] noble, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] amiable, whatsoever things[are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue and if any praise, think on these things.””
