Jesus is the hope of our salvation. Over 2000 years ago He came into this world to seek and to save the sinner. The Bible tells us at Calvary’s Cross he shed his blood and laid down his life so that we may be saved.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 12:1-3 “And in that day thou shalt say, Jehovah, I will praise thee; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.2 Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.3 And with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
1 Peter 1:1-5 “Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his great mercy, has begotten us again to a living hope through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ from among [the] dead,4 to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance, reserved in [the] heavens for you,5 who are kept guarded by [the] power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in [the] last time.”
