Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all ye who labour and are burdened, and *I* will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls; for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Luke 10:30-35 “And Jesus replying said, A certain man descended from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell into [the hands of] robbers, who also, having stripped him and inflicted wounds, went away leaving him in a half-dead state. And a certain priest happened to go down that way, and seeing him, passed on on the opposite side;and in like manner also a Levite, being at the spot, came and looked [at him] and passed on on the opposite side. But a certain Samaritan journeying came to him, and seeing [him], was moved with compassion, and came up [to him] and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine; and having put him on his own beast, took him to [the] inn and took care of him.And on the morrow [as he left], taking out two denarii he gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him, and whatsoever thou shalt expend more, *I* will render to thee on my coming back.”
Luke 22:41-44 “And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and having knelt down he prayed, saying, Father, if thou wilt remove this cup from me:—but then, not my will, but thine be done. And an angel appeared to him from heaven strengthening him.And being in conflict he prayed more intently. And his sweat became as great drops of blood, falling down upon the earth.”
Colossians 3:12-14 “Put on therefore, as [the] elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any should have a complaint against any; even as the Christ has forgiven you, so also [do] *ye*. And to all these [add] love, which is the bond of perfectness.”
