In this Gospel preaching, you will hear about three people: one who could not be persuaded, one who was almost persuaded, and one who was fully persuaded to trust in the Lord Jesus.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Luke 16:29-31 “29 But Abraham says to him, They have Moses and the prophets: let them hear them.30 But he said, Nay, father Abraham, but if one from the dead should go to them, they will repent.31 And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, not even if one rise from among [the] dead will they be persuaded.”
Acts 26:27-29 “27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.28 And Agrippa [said] to Paul, In a little thou persuadest me to become a Christian.29 And Paul [said], I would to God, both in little and in much, that not only thou, but all who have heard me this day, should become such as *I* also am, except these bonds.”
Romans 4:20-25 “20 and hesitated not at the promise of God through unbelief; but found strength in faith, giving glory to God;21 and being fully persuaded that what he has promised he is able also to do;22 wherefore also it was reckoned to him as righteousness.23 Now it was not written on his account alone that it was reckoned to him,
24 but on ours also, to whom, believing on him who has raised from among [the] dead Jesus our Lord,25 who has been delivered for our offences and has been raised for our justification, it will be reckoned.”
