It is a wonderful thing to come to know Jesus as your personal Saviour. To know that our sins have been forgiven and we have peace with God. It is important though that each believer in Christ is set apart for the glory of God. There is a battle going  on in the soul daily. How do we have victory in Jesus each day? In this ministry word we look at scriptures form God’s word to encourage the believer in Jesus to stand for God in days of difficulty.

The Gospel is preached to announce the glorious message of salvation available in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came to preach “to captives deliverance, and to [the] blind sight, to send forth [the] crushed delivered,19 to preach [the] acceptable year of [the] Lord”. What an amazing message? In this Gospel you will hear of what Jesus has done to set you free from the power of sin and bring in to the joy of eternal life.

Ezra pours out an appeal from his heart to people to build the house of God in a broken day. We are living in a broken day in 2023. As you read through the book of Ezra you will notice instruction directly from God’s word about the importance of maintaining the House of God. The call goes out today in 2023 ” whoever there among you”. If you have a concern in the broken days in which we live the scriptures direct us to go up and Build the House of God.

Sometimes our hearts can be filled with worries and doubts on our Christian pathway but God is faithful. There is a way to endure by looking to our Lord Jesus Christ the author and completer of our faith. In this word, you will hear of Endurance as seen in Stephen and Mephibosheth.

The fear of death can steal the joy of our salvation. The words “Fear not” appears in the Bible 365 times. In the world today many are fearful of the reality of death. God desires for each believer to conquer this fear by depending totally on our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. In Christ, we are able to overcome the fear of death and by faith in Him, our hearts are filled with joy.

What is the state of my heart? The Gospel is preached to awaken fallen man to their need of a Saviour. The Bible tells us that in our sins we find ourselves short of the glory of God. Many people try to earn favour with God by doing God works, attending meetings or giving to charity. The scriptures tell us that the only way to find peace with God is through the completed work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
