There are quite a few scriptures about Walking with God. This may sound very obvious but if you plan to walk with someone you need to go in the same direction. The Bible tells us that Enoch walked with God. As a Christian, it is God’s desire for us to walk with Him and spend time in his presence. Are You Walking With God?
It is the Lord’s desire for believers to continue in their Christian life for the glory and praise of our Lord Jesus Christ. We live in a world that increasingly has no interest in the things of God but the Bible teaches us to continue in our faith in the grace of God.
When Jesus passed the region of Gerasenes he met a man who had an unclean spirit who lived in the tombs. The scriptures say no one was able to control him and many were fearful but when Jesus passed by a wonderful change took place. The man who had an unclean spirit was made well and found sitting at the feet of Jesus clothed and sensible.
Jesus came into this world to bring life to the perishing sinner. The bible says mankind has fallen short of the glory of God but in the Gospel, there is hope for us to receive life in Jesus Christ. Jesus went to Calvary’s cross to redeem fallen man by shedding his precious blood so God would be able to cleanse us righteously. Oh, what a saviour!
In the epistle of the Ephesians, Paul encourages believers to fix their eyes on the fullness of Christ. Listen to this address to understand what the scriptures say about the fullness of Christ and the mystery of this revelation.
It is God’s desire for the Christian to walk righteously and faithfully while we wait for the Lord’s return.
In this Gospel message, you will hear about a parable Jesus told in Luke 14 about an invitation to God’s Great Banquet. Jesus likens this parable to the Gospel, a great invitation from God proclaimed to mankind to secure us for blessing. Many invited in the parable had a whole list of excuses for why they could not go to the banquet and today many people use the same excuses to explain why they don’t accept God’s message of salvation. This same invitation is still going out today! Will you accept it?
Today is the day of salvation. The Bible tells us that God desires for all men to saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The Gospel is an opportunity for us to be saved from our sins and find peace with God. Jesus came into this world to save sinners and at Calvary’s cross he laid down his life. O what a saviour!
