The Gospel is a wonderful message of hope about a king who was born to save mankind from their sins. The Lord Jesus was God’s son sent into this world to bring salvation by going to Calvary’s cross where he laid down His life for you. Jesus was A king born to save sinners.
Jesus tells us in the Gospel of Matthew to “Seek ye first the kingdom of God” and he promises blessing if obey his words. What are your priorities? Often as Christians we can take our eyes what really matters. Jesus said seek God’s Kingdom, follow Him and he will come in blessing.
Jesus tells Peter to “feed my lambs” new established believers. This was a direct commission to Peter in John 21 but there is call in the scriptures for the church to also take on responsibility for providing spiritual food for God’s people today. “Who then is the faithful and prudent bondman whom his lord has set over his household, to give them food in season?”
Have you heard the joyful sound? Jesus saves. The Gospel is preached because there is a wonderful Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ and He is able to save you.
