Many people today find themselves distressed by the trials and worries of life. The Gospel calls sinners to the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, whom He sent as the Saviour of the world. There is hope for the distressed sinner in the Gospel because Jesus has come to bring salvation and turn darkness into light. He welcomes you through the Gospel. Have you accepted His invitation?
God has done great things for you through the Gospel. The Bible teaches that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, as a Savior for sinners. Have you come to the Lord Jesus? Without God, the Scriptures tell us, we are without hope in this world. The Gospel brings the good news that God has come near to us through Jesus, offering salvation by going to the cross at Calvary.
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart and he is knocking. He is awaiting a response. God has provided a wonderful Saviour and through the Lord Jesus there is salvation for all who trust in Him and repent of their sins. Have you opened the door of your heart to Jesus?
