Today is the day of salvation. The Bible tells us that God desires for all men to saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The Gospel is an opportunity for us to be saved from our sins and find peace with God. Jesus came into this world to save sinners and at Calvary’s cross he laid down his life. O what a saviour!
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Hebrews: 3:13-15 “But encourage yourselves each day, as long as it is called To-day, that none of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are become companions of the Christ if indeed we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;15 in that it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts“
2 Corinthians 6-1-2 “But [as] fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:2 (for he says, I have listened to thee in an accepted time, and I have helped thee in a day of salvation: behold, now [is the] well-accepted time; behold, now [the] day of salvation”
2 Kings 7:9 “And they said one to another, We are not doing right; this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, the iniquity will find us out; and now come, let us go and tell the king’s household.”
1 Timothy 1:15 “Faithful [is] the word, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom *I* am [the] first. “
