The Cross of Christ stands out in the whole history of the world. What Jesus did confronts sinners “mankind” of their need of a saviour and the saviour presented in the Gospel is the Lord Jesus Christ. Who came into this world to bring about salvation for mankind by stepping into the sinner’s place by dying on the cross. It was on the cross where Jesus took on himself our sins that we might be saved by trusting in him.
