It is God’s desire for the Christian to walk righteously and faithfully while we wait for the Lord’s return.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Psalms 1:1 -6 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners; But his delight is in Jehovah’s law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he [is] as a tree planted by brooks of water, which giveth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf fadeth not; and all that he doeth prospereth. The wicked are not so; but are as the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.”
Psalms 73:1-2 “Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are of a pure heart. But as for me, my feet were almost gone, my steps had well nigh slipped;”
Revelation 22:10-13 “And he says to me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book. The time is near. Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practise righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still. Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be. I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.”
