In this preaching, you will about endurance from the book of Hebrews. The writer of this book is writing to encourage his readers to run the Chrisitan race keeping their eyes on Jesus. Over 2000 years ago, the Lord Jesus journeyed to Golgotha where he endured the cross and our punishment for sin. At the cross, the Lord Jesus laid down his life and shed his precious blood to provide salvation for sinners. There is now hope for the sinner by simply calling on the Lord Jesus in repentance and faith.

Hebrews 12:1-3 “Let *us* also therefore, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every weight, and sin which so easily entangles us, run with endurance the race that lies before us,2 looking stedfastly on Jesus the leader and completer of faith: who, in view of the joy lying before him, endured [the] cross, having despised [the] shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.3 For consider well him who endured so great contradiction from sinners against himself, that ye be not weary, fainting in your minds.”
