Nothing in this world can give security or peace to your soul. God is still speaking to mankind in the Gospel to bring salvation to sinners. In this Gospel preaching, you will hear about Jesus as a nail in a sure place, Jesus as the rock and Jesus as the anchor of the soul.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 22:22-24 “22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; and he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.23 And I will fasten him [as] a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a throne of glory to his father’s house:24 and they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all the small vessels, as well the vessels of cups as all the vessels of flagons.”
Matthew 7:24-27 “24 Whoever therefore hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;25 and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and fell upon that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.26 And every one who hears these my words and does not do them, he shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;27 and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.”
Hebrews 6:14-20 “17 Wherein God, willing to shew more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of his purpose, intervened by an oath,18 that by two unchangeable things, in which [it was] impossible that God should lie, we might have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold on the hope set before us,19 which we have as anchor of the soul, both secure and firm, and entering into that within the veil,20 where Jesus is entered as forerunner for us, become for ever a high priest according to the order of Melchisedec.”
